I am currently a predoctoral researcher in Paleoanthropology, in the Group of Dental Anthropology of the National Research Centre on Human Evolution (CENIEH). The research lines of the Group of Dental Anthropology are part of the broader program of Paleobiology and Paleoecology of Hominins.

One of the main research interests of our group is the variation and evolution of dental morphology in the hominin fossil record. The use of geometric morphometric methods helps us to evaluate the morphological changes of the dentition, as well as to propose hypothesis about its evolution. Some of these studies have been published as part of a larger series of articles on hominin dental morphology.

Other research lines of the group are the pathological conditions of the Pleistocene hominins and the study of the internal anatomy of the teeth using 3D models obtained with MicroCT scan.
